A noninvasive high frequency chest wall oscillation (HFCWO) device, the InCourage system benefits patients living with a wide range of chronic respiratory challenges associated with cystic fibrosis, certain neuromuscular/neuromotor diseases, COPD and bronchiectasis.

Vest therapy is a safe, effective, non-invasive airway clearance method that clears excess mucus from lungs and airways. The inCourage System uses a vest attached to a machine that creates compressions to the chest, helping to loosen, thin and move mucus through the lungs.

Most airway clearance vests use sine wave technology that squeezes a patient’s chest like a blood pressure cuff. This can make it hard to take a deep breath. Only the inCourage® System offers active venting, which lets the chest easily expand for deep, comfortable breaths during therapy.

The inCourage® System uses a unique triangle waveform technology that delivers brief CPT-like thumps to the chest. Patients who have used both sine wave systems and the inCourage System report better comfort with the inCourage System1 and easier breathing during therapy.2 The inCourage System also improves airway secretion clearance by as much as 20% over sine wave vest therapy systems.2
